Here's the situation. Jan has a bus to catch in 9 minutes. On his way from a shopping centre to the bus stops, he takes a quick look in a shop to see if he could find any nice clothes. And there it is, hanging on the wall: A t-shirt with the text "Stockholm", and the number 84 (my birth year). I mean, what the f**k? What are the odds?

Ok, to the topic.
When asked how much people know about Sweden, the longest answer I have got is Ikea and "Swedish massage". I have also heard that we have good chocolate here - the Sweden/Switzerland missunderstanding count is now up on 4... =(
Australian flag: first version is 105 years old
American flag: first version is 230 years old
Swedish flag: current version is 437 years old
If Australians and Americans can be proud of their flags, I'm sure as hell going to be proud of our.

Sometimes you just read or hear things that makes you completely depressed about how stupid people can be.
"Isn't that why we have been assigned to different continents to stay on them? Idealistic at least."
(and after being told to learn about columbus, slave trading, missionaries, james cook, crusades etc before he opens his mouth next time)
